A show about nothing? The director Ivan Passer beat Seinfeld to it with his melancholy, funny, observant Czech feature of 1965. We spend a weekend with two musician friends, one rural, one urban. Instead of a plot there's talking, drinking, some snoring, much laughter, and the rueful sounds of two people reviewing their lives and finding disappointments on both sides.
